Ideal Location for Your Retreat

Looking for a place to hold your next retreat, meeting, worship service or team-building exercise? Located 10 miles east of Bedford, Indiana, the natural setting of Camp Challenge serves as the ideal backdrop.

Just ask Craig Knisely, youth pastor at Westlake Community Church of God in Indianapolis. Craig has been using the Camp Challenge facilities for his youth group’s fall retreat for several years. He says he hasn’t found any better camp around. “Nora Hunter is beautiful and convenient,” he applauds. “And the grounds are perfect. There’s so much space to do anything we want.”

Girls Will “Shine” at This Retreat

The dreary winter will be brighter for middle and high school girls attending this very special retreat themed “Shine.” Come home radiant when you stop listening to what the world considers as beautiful and start seeing yourself the way God sees you – perfect in His sight.

The camp begins with a sugar and social time on Friday and includes worship and small group time throughout the weekend.

If you went to camp over the summer, this is a great way to reconnect with your friends. If you haven’t attended camp but are considering it, this is an ideal way to get a taste for what camp is all about.

Cost is $60 for the entire weekend or $50 for Saturday/Sunday.

Explore Indiana Over Handlebars

You haven’t experienced south-central Indiana until you’ve explored her up close and personal over the handlebars of a bicycle. Throw on your helmet and pack your bags. This is a four day expedition you won’t want to miss.

Campers head out each day from Camp Challenge, riding about 40 miles to the day’s destination. This event is not a race, so travel at your own pace and take time discovering the unique features of each site. Destinations include:

  • Spring Mill Park
  • Hoosier National Forest
  • Lake Monroe’s Harden Ridge Recreation Area
  • Starve Hollow Beach

Wrap up each day with a hearty meal and even more robust worship time, praising God for His creation and His role in your life.

Cost for the tour includes camping accommodations (retreat center, cabins or pitch a tent) and three meals. Click here to register.
