January 1 is approaching, which means 2 exciting things at Camp Challenge!
1) A generous donor has offered a last-minute matching gift for any year end donations, up to $10,000! There’s still time to get your gift matched AND get your tax benefit by giving online or postmarking a mailed gift before 1/1!

We surpassed our #GivingTuesday goal of $6,000 to fund our water line replacement…as of the end of the November 27th, you had given $7,445! Our campers, guests, and staff are appreciative of your commitment to providing a safe, inviting, and well-cared-for environment for them to discover, develop, and disciple…we can’t wait to get this project rolling!!

WHAT IS #GIVINGTUESDAY?
#GivingTuesday is a global day of giving fueled by the power of social media and collaboration. Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.
HOW IS CAMP CHALLENGE PARTICIPATING?
For #GivingTuesday, Camp Challenge is raising the funds necessary to install a larger-diameter pipe between our water main and our water-using facilities. Our growing number of campers need more toilets, sinks, and showers, but our 1/2″ water lines are too small to fully pressurize our current facilities, let alone additional ones. $30 provides approximately 5 feet of installed, 1.5″ underground pipe so our campers finally have decent water pressure for basic hygiene activities, and lays the groundwork for future facility improvement! We need to install approximately 1,000 feet of underground pipe to connect our bathhouse to the water main, so our #GivingTuesday goal is $6,000.
HOW CAN I HELP?
You can make a donation of any amount. As gifts are made, we will fill in the water droplets between the water main and the bathhouse.
