Camp is time away to explore possibilities and encounter new people. God has a tailor-made adventure designed just for you. Are you ready to accept the challenge?

general information

CAMP FEES AND DISCOUNTS: $280 ($140 for Young Explorers). $30 early bird discount($15 for Young Explorers) for registrations received by 3/31/18. $30 late fee added to registrations received within 2 weeks of camp start date. Camp fees include lodging, meals, all activities and programming, t-shirt, and camp pictures. Campers attending a 2nd session get 50% off 2nd camp of equal/lesser value. Campers referring a first-time attender registering by March 31st get a $25 canteen credit.

CAMPER CHECK-IN AND PICK-UP: Camp check-in is from 11:30 am-1:00 pm on opening day for Young Explorers (lunch will be served to campers at 1:00 pm) and 4:00-6:00 pm on opening day for all other camps . Parents/drivers are invited to tour the camp, meet the counselors, and have refreshments during camp check-in. ALL CAMPERS MUST BE PICKED UP AT 10:00 AM ON THE CLOSING DAY.

CANTEEN: Camp merchandise, snacks, etc., will be available for purchase at the Canteen.  Campers will be given the option to donate unused Canteen funds back to Camp Challenge at the end of their camp. View merchandise and pricing here.

CHOOSING A CAMP: Please register for a camp that corresponds with the grade camper will have completed by the end of the 2017-2018 school year.

CLOTHING: Some camp activities can be physically demanding on clothes. Please bring only those items that are easily replaced as they could become stained or damaged. Tops should have at least 1″ straps. Tops should be long enough to cover the stomach even when arms are raised. Swimsuits must be one piece.  If you have a two piece suit, you will have to wear a dark shirt over the suit. Pants may not be low cut, hip huggers, or short-shorts. Guys must wear shirts at all times except at the swimming pool.  Guys may not wear loose pants that hang low on the hips.

EXPULSION: Any camper that is caught with any of the following items at Camp Challenge will be expelled: alcoholic beverages or tobacco products of any kind, illegal drugs, firearms, or fireworks.

MEDICATIONS: All medications and treatment are administered under the camp nurse’s supervision. No medications or over-the-counter drugs are allowed in the cabins without permission.

PACKING SUGGESTIONS: Bring old comfy clothing; 2 pairs of closed-toe shoes; toiletries (toothpaste, toothbrush, comb, soap, shampoo, etc); washcloth & 2 towels; flashlight; bedding (sleeping bag or sheet & blanket, pillow); Bible, journal or notebook, pencil/pen; sunscreen & bug spray; bathing suit (if 2-piece bring shirt to wear over it); if you bring snacks also bring TIGHTLY-SEALING CONTAINERS to store them in! Leave at home any electronics, including CELL PHONES, tablets, radios, DVD players, video games, etc.; any knives, firearms, or other weapons; fireworks; matches; alcohol, tobacco products; illegal drugs or drugs not prescribed to you; flip flops and clothes in violation of our dress code policy.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Camp Challenge staff takes pictures each week during camp for campers and their families and to use promotionally at the Camp’s discretion including, but not limited to, video presentations, newsletters, social media, and www.gocampchallenge.com. By registering your child for camp, you give permission for Camp Challenge to use photos of your child for these purposes.

VANDALISM: Parents may be charged an additional fee if their campers intentionally damage or vandalize Camp property.

VISITORS: For protection of our campers, WE DO NOT PERMIT VISITORS DURING CAMP unless previously arranged with the Executive Director. Contact Brian Klein at brian@gocampchallenge.com if you wish to arrange a visit.
