Campers should attend the camp for the grade in which they are completing—not the grade they will begin in the fall.
General Information
CAMPER MAIL: Everyone enjoys receiving mail while at camp. Please address all mail to campers in care of Camp Challenge.
VISITORS: For protection of campers WE DO NOT PERMIT VISITORS unless previously arranged with the Executive Director.
PHONE CALLS: Camp phone calls (812) 834-5159. Parents are requested not to call campers except in an emergency.
CANTEEN: Camp T-shirts ($10,00), hats, snacks, etc., will be available for purchase.
REGISTRATION: Will begin at 10:00 am for all camps except Young Explorers which will begin at 1:30 pm. ALL CAMPERS SHOULD BE PICKED UP BY 10:00 AM ON THE CLOSING DAY.
HEALTH: Please complete the entire health form. All medications and treatment are under a nurse’s supervision. No medications or over-the-counter drugs are allowed in the cabins without permission.
AGE LEVEL: It is important that each camper comes to the correct camp determined by the grade in school just completed.
VANDALISM: Campers are expected to pay for any vandalism that they create.
CAMP FEE: The camp fee includes all activities and programming at camp, room and board, and camp picture.
CLOTHING: Some camp activities can be intense and physically demanding on clothes. Please bring only those items that are easily replaced as they could become stained or damaged. Tops should have at least 1″ straps. Tops should be long enough to cover the stomach.
