2012 – A Year of Big Improvements at Camp Challenge!

Thanks to the generosity of donors and volunteers, Camp Challenge saw some major improvements in 2012, including:

New game courts – Octaball, Four Square and Tetherball – hours of fun.
Completely remodeled Upper Amity – fresh, clean, new carpet, new paint and more – air-conditioned worship and program space.
Refreshed Nora Hunter Retreat Center – new paint and carpet for our most civilized space.
New roofs for Amity and the Shelter House – lasting protection for our large group facilities.

Donations from individuals and churches also support ongoing operations and maintenance so we can keep camp fees low.

IMPORTANT!. After May 15th the cost of attending camp goes up by $30 for the week long camps and $15 for Young Explorers. This year a tshirt is included with camp fee. However, we can only guarantee having the correct size if your forms are in by May 15.

Some folks have submitted forms online without paying half of the camp fee. If we do not receive the required fee by May 15, the late fee will be added to your camp fee.

The Camp is interested in creating a database of former campers so that we can keep you informed of happenings here. Camp Available for Renters

The Board of Directors for Camp Challenge has set the schedule for 2012. With the changes that were made a week for a rental group has become available. June 30 to July 7 is open for outside groups that are needing a location for a week-long camp. Contact Ralph Price at 812-834-5159 or email at ralph@gocampchallenge.com. for more information. Additionally, many weekends are available throughout the spring and fall of 2012 for retreats.

Indiana South Youth Choir

If you love to sing and spend time traveling with other kids your age, consider being a part of this year’s choir. The tour will take place from July 13-22. Each night the choir will perform at a different church. According to the young people that have been a part of this, there simply is no experience that is better.
